Please pick up the Bible first, quiet in front of God, earnestly pray, read the Bible, meditate, and how thought is applied in your life. Then share the feelings of your devotional process.

Tips: What is spirituality? Why is it spiritual? How to repair?

James 4:1-10—
Ja 4:1  Where did the battles between you come from? Isn't it from the lusts of fighting in your bodies?

Ya 4:2  You are in love, you still can't get it. You kill and fight, and you can't get it. You can't get it because you don't ask.

James 4:3  You can't ask for it, because you are begging, to be wasted in your feast.

Ja 4:4  Those of you who are fornicating, (Is the prostitute to be an adulteress) Do you not know that you are a friend of the world, is it an enemy of God? Therefore, anyone who wants to be friends with the world is an enemy of God.

Ja 4:5  Do you want to say that it is in vain? Is the love that God has given us in us to be in love?

Ja 4:6  But he gives more grace. Therefore, the Scripture says that God blocks the proud and gives grace to the humble.

Ja 4:7  Therefore, you must obey God, and you must resist the devil, and the devil will leave you and run away.

James 4:8  When you are close to God, God will be close to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners. For those who care for you, clean your heart.

Ja 4:9  You are to suffer, mourn, cry. Turn laughter into sorrow, joy into sorrow.

James 4:10 Be inferior to the Lord, and the Lord will raise you up..

No shortage

When eagle babies are born less than a week ago, they will compete for food. No chicks are strong enough to hold their heads for more than a few seconds, so this pair of eagle babies looks like a plush ball sticking to two soft balls that will shake. But when the eagle parents bring food back to the nest, the bigger one will squat down its brother, so that it can't get a piece of food. If its parents bring back very little food, or if it can't rely on parents to bring back enough food, then its aggressive behavior is understandable. But this is not the case. Their parents brought back fish that are several times larger than the eagle's baby, and the food is far more than they need.
The greedy eagle baby reminds me of the stupidity that we do when we want to acquire something that belongs to others (James 4:1-5). Because we want to get the reward that God has given to friends, colleagues, relatives or neighbors, and the dispute has broken out. We are not asking God to reward what we need, but to obtain Him for others (v. 2). But God will give us the best things for each of us, so we don't need something that belongs to others. Of course, we don't have to hurt others in order to get what we need.
Our loving Father gives us each and more than what we ask and think. JAL

The secret of contentment lies in
let God supply;
do his duty to lead the Lord,
and trust in His Word.

Our needs will never let God bounce out the food.
